Victoria Eagles Registration 2025

This Registration Form is for players who have made the rosters for the 2025 season only.

The following information is sent to the team Business Manager. In addition, the required registration information for the BCBPBL is extracted from this data including name, contact information and birth date. Coaches will receive pertinent information such as medical concerns, etc.

In case of emergency, team personnel will always try to contact the parents/guardians first.

I/We, the parent(s)/guardian(s) of the Player identified in this Registration Form (the “Minor”), in consideration of the acceptance of the Minor for a position on a Victoria Eagles Baseball Club (the “Eagles”) team, hereby agree to uphold and abide by the constitution, by-laws, policies, procedures, and codes of conduct of the Eagles and give my/our approval for the Minor to participate in baseball and in ANY AND ALL related Eagles activities. I/We assume all risks and hazards incidental to such participation including transportation to and from activities and I/we do hereby waive, release, absolve, indemnify and agree to hold harmless the Eagles, the BC Premier Baseball Association (“PBA”), Host Parks and PBA member Associations and the directors, executive, organizers, sponsors, supervisors, coaches, umpires and all other persons participating in Eagles activities, including those persons transporting the Minor to and from activities, for, from and against any claim arising out of any injury to the Minor, whether the result of negligence or for any other cause, except to the extent and in the amount covered by accident or liability insurance. Further, if the Minor shall happen to be injured during an Eagles activity, or in the process of traveling to or from such activity, I/We hereby give permission for the Minor to be administered any emergency medical treatment as shall be required and hereby give my/our permission to have such emergency medical treatment administered at the scene, at a doctor's office, or at a hospital if such becomes necessary. I/We will furnish a certified birth certificate of the Minor to the Eagles, or PBA, should it be requested.

The Parent(s)/Guardian(s) and the Player identified in this Registration Form hereby accept a roster position for the Player on the 2025 Eagles team specified above (the “Team”). As a member of the Team, the Eagles will provide the Player with the opportunity to develop fundamental baseball skills and participate in high performance BCBPBL baseball under the guidance of Eagles coaches and the administrative support of the Eagles. In exchange for this opportunity, the Parent and Player agree and commit to the following obligations:

• The Parent and the Player commit that the Player will not withdraw from the Team prior to the end of its 2025 season except for valid injury or personal reasons and with the approval of the Eagles;
• The Parent and Player commit that, unless injured, the Player will participate fully in the Team’s practices and games in whatever position the Player is asked to play. The Player and Parent are aware that the Team will usually practice at least twice a week and will play approximately 44 regular season games plus tournament and playoff games and that most of these games will involve out-of-town travel;
• The Player and the Parent acknowledge that playing time is not necessarily equal at the Team Manager’s discretion;
• The Parent and Player will participate in volunteer duties, including fundraising activities, as assigned by the organization or team business manager;
• The Player agrees to comply with the BCBPBL’s Rules and Code of Conduct; 
• The Parent agrees to pay the full costs of the Player’s participation in the Team’s activities in compliance with the payment schedule established by the Eagles;
• The Player and Parent acknowledge the rules governing player transfer requests set out in Rule A-17 of the BCBPBL’s Rules and Procedures.
